Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Casa Gabriele, I discovered a blend of comfort and value that's hard to overlook. The property, impeccably renovated, boasts a prime location facing the castle, providing easy access to the old town and the beach - a mere seven-minute walk downhill. I stayed in Room No.10, which featured amenities like a flat-screen TV and ample wardrobe space. It was clean and cozy, with a private bathroom that felt like a little oasis. The daily breakfast, while basic, was sufficient to fuel my active lifestyle, especially post half-marathon. The owner, Christian, exemplified hospitality, allowing me to shower in a separate room after my run and even sending back my lost Apple Pencil. And let's not forget about the free parking - a rarity in such prime locations. For anyone weighing the financial aspect against luxury, Casa Gabriele stands out. It may not ooze opulence, but the combination of functionality and strategic pricing makes it a savvy choice for mindful travelers. I would certainly consider returning to this budget-friendly gem.
